In keeping with our school vision of “Growing Together,” Manor CE Academy works hard to ensure we meet the needs of all of our students regardless of ability, disability, gender, ethnicity or religious affiliation.
Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium is a government grant to schools for students who are in receipt of free school meals, who have been registered for free school meals within the last six years, or, who are looked after by the care system and children who have been adopted or whose parents or carers are serving in the Armed Forces.
The Pupil Premium funding was introduced in April 2011.
The pupil premium funding we receive is used to improve the outcomes and hence life chances of the whole school community. Our approach as set out in our Pupil Premium Strategy follows a three-tiered approach, which is strongly evidence based. This involves:
- A Quality First Teaching Focus for all
- Targeted Academic Support for identified individuals
- Wider Strategies relating to attendance, well-being and behaviour
