Our Uniform
2025/26 is a transition academic year which means that the current Manor CE uniform (blazer, tank top and kilt) can continue to be worn throughout this year for students who are currently on roll in Year 8-11.
All new starters (Year 7 and in-year admissions) will be expected to wear the new uniform.

Standard Day Wear

| Skirt | Unbranded | Black | Skirts can be worn as an alternative to trousers. They should be plain black ‘A’ line‘ - with no pleats, splits or flares and no extreme style. Skirts should be knee-length and should not be made from tight or stretchy fabric. Plain black tights or socks should be worn with the skirt. |
| Trousers | Unbranded | Black | Trousers should be formal, smart, plain black, and suitable for a professional environment. They should be waist height and below ankle length (meeting the top of any shoes/trainers worn). They should be worn with plain black ankle socks. - Please do not purchase skinny-fit trousers, leggings, jeans, chinos, cords, or trousers with any decoration like zips or embroidery. |

Outdoor Wear
- A suitable coat or jacket for colder weather is important, especially for outdoor breaks.
- Hoodies are not permitted as outdoor wear within the academy.

Hair, Makeup and Jewellery
- We encourage a natural look: noticeable makeup such as false eyelashes, heavy mascara, or coloured nail varnish isn’t permitted.
- For safety reasons, hoop or dangly earrings, false nails, and excessive nail length are not allowed.
- Students are permitted to have two stud earrings in each ear, one bracelet, one watch, and one nose stud. Additional piercings (e.g. eyebrow, tongue) must be removed while at school (covering with a plaster is not acceptable as an alternative). Any jewellery that is brought into school is done so at their own risk and we would advise that nothing of any significant value (financially or sentimentally) is worn.
- Hair should be natural in colour and neat in style (no extreme haircuts).
Equipment List
Suitable bag, pens (blue or black and purple ink minimum), pencil, pencil sharpener, highlighter pen, ruler, and a scientific calculator.
Art / Technology: Overall OR apron to protect clothing.
Dance: Comfortable loose trousers, T-shirt or vest top, OR PE kit.
All uniform and equipment should be clearly marked with student’s name.

Pre-loved Uniform
The academy maintains a selection of pre-loved uniform items which can be purchased via the school office (Monday - Thursday, 14:30-16:15) throughout the year.
